Health Benefits

Do we know yet how long we can carry health care benefits if we accept a buyout and on what terms/conditions?

You'll want to verify this w/ HR, but I think your health benefits continue for the duration of your buyout term (if you're getting 22 weeks pay, you're covered for that time). After that, you have the option to continue on your own dime for another 18 months. You'll be paying what had been the company's share plus your own share of the premiums, but they'd still be cheaper than what you could buy on your own.
