Just stopped by Nina's for a sandwich and struck up a chat with Jean, the owner. I asked her how she thought another 100 people leaving The Sun would affect her business, at the corner of Calvert and Centre streets, and she just sadly nodded her head.
She said she's already seen big tail-off in biz, with fewer people left at The Sun and those who are, have less and less time for a coffee break.
Presently, she's open for breakfast and lunch. But to make up for lost revenue, she is seriously contemplating staying open for dinner, too.
On my way out, I noticed a few copies of the free B still in the newspaper rack.
