G'morning:
  • Got a couple job listings over on the jobs blog.
  • Also, a former Sun employee -- who took a buyout a dozen years ago and who now works for a major Baltimore employer -- is willing to organize a little meetup on Monday afternoon, where he and other former journalists talk to us about making a transition to another field. Go to the jobs blog for more info and leave a comment on his post ("Notes from the Outside," June 30)if you can make it on Monday, July 7, 1:30 p.m., here in the city. Space might be limited, so please jump on it!
  • The jobs blog is seeking to compile the best freelancing links for writers, graphic designers, photographers and multimedia geeks. Please forward any you find, any you may have used that you'd recommend, or any your journalist friends have used in the past.

sorry chris, go over to the jobs blog -- baltimorejournalismjobs.blogspot.com -- and look for the post titled "NOTES FROM THE OUTSIDE", from June 30. Express your interest in the comments section, so the organizer can plan for it.
